Wolf Haven's campground consists of 14 four-person tent sites and 5 "dry" RV sites for those of you wishing to spend the night at Wolf Haven as part of one of our events.

Poker Run

Sunday, September 12; 9am - 3pm

Ride starts at the Mason County Fair Grounds in Shelton with a hot breakfast. New This Year: Registration and breakfast are INSIDE heated buildings...thank you Mason County for your support!

Ride ends at our Top Dog Sponsor : Lucky Eagle Casino with spaghetti feed and party. Register for the Platinum Player's Club when you reserve your space for the ride and your card (with all the freebies!) will be waiting for you at the final stop!

Wolf Awareness Week

October 18th-24th, 2009

Celebrate the importance and beauty of the wolf in our world today. Wolf Awareness week became a national event in 1996. Since that time, Governors from 26 states have proclaimed the fourth week of October as Wolf Awareness Week. We are proud to say that Washington is one of them.

Wildlife Courses

November 3-5, 2009

FEE: $550 ($575 after October 1st, 2009)

Taught by Mark Johnson, DVM of Global Wildlife Resources, Inc.

Dr. Johnson will focus on the needs of researchers and managers to understand the skills and equipment associated with wildlife capture, physical restraint, and chemical immobilization. The course also covers in detail each aspect of animal handling such a radio-collaring, weighing, sample collection and patient monitoring.

Photography Tours

Photography Tours can be scheduled for groups of 6 or more.

Wolf Haven invites you to participate in one of our highly popular amateur photography tours. Photography tours are held in Winter and Fall when the wolves are wearing their winter coats and are generally more active, thanks to cooler temperatures.

Wildlife Festival

Saturday, July 11th, 2009
10:00am-8:00pm

Our 3rd Annual Wildlife Festival! was a HUGE success with over 900 attendees. Live bands, food, children’s activities, balloon artists, face-painting and storytellers all spelled F-U-N! We hosted other organizations that promote wildlife conservation, and local vendors sell crafts and goods. The day ended with our famous howling contest.
