Accredited by both the American Sanctuary Association (ASA) and the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS), Wolf Haven has rescued and provided a lifetime home to over 325 captive-born wolves, wolfdogs, and coyotes since 1982 at our sanctuary locations in Tenino, Washington and Bridger, Montana. McCleery Ranch Animal Care & Property Manager
Wolf Haven's McCleery Ranch Animal Care & Property Manager (McCleery Manager) works to ensure that every aspect of our work reflects our values and philosophies as a GFAS-accredited organization. This position leads all animal care activities at McCleery Ranch, supervises ranch employees and volunteers, and guarantees that the ranch maintains high standards of caregiving for all sanctuary residents with a focus on safety, compassion, and effectiveness. The McCleery Manager also provides and supervises regular maintenance of all ranch facilities, grounds, and equipment.​

As a nonprofit organization, Wolf Haven receives no federal or state funding and depends on people like you to help us carry out our mission of conserving and protecting wolves and their habitat.​ Volunteers help us to increase understanding, appreciation, and conservation of wolves and wildlife. They serve as ambassadors in the community, promoting Wolf Haven, wolves, and native prairie species.
